How to Release Anger in Seconds

Author: Lana Rolfe

Who are you angry with?

Your partner, your parents, your in-laws, the government, child molesters, animal abusers, or people who are ignorant and narrow minded?

How does this anger serve you? What do you get out of being angry?

A feeling of empowerment and resourcefulness?

I dont think so.

Anger is a very destructive emotion and can cause permanent damage in all areas.

Would you like to learn to release it immediately?

Okay, lets learn something new

Every time you get angry, you have a choice. You can either run the same program you have been running for years or YOU CAN CHANGE IT.

Your physiology affects your emotional state. It is extremely difficult to say something in anger when you have a smile on your face.

So, when you get angry, change your posture, facial expression, breathing and inner dialogue.

Close your eyes and visualise your anger as a greyish cloud inside of you. Allow this cloud to attract all parts of itself and to become as big as possible inside your body.

Now, imagine preparing to inflate a balloon. The cloud you have inside of you is incredibly light and needs to get out.

Place the balloon in front of your mouth and visualise blowing the whole of your anger cloud into the balloon.

Wow, watch it expand and rise, pulling at you to let go and release it into the sky. Once you have blown all your anger into the balloon tie it up and allow it to go.

Release it into the atmosphere and become aware of how light you feel.

This is a very powerful visualisation technique and can be used for fear, grief, regret, pain and guilt.

Follow you instincts and have fun!
